February, 22 2019 - Verified by Georgia Institute of TechnologyI answered students questions and checked off lab work for Georgia Tech's laboratory course on rapid prototyping and FPGA design. I served as a teaching assistant during the Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 semesters.
I was an intern for the Coffee County Memory Project, in which I conducted research, conducted and recorded interviews, organized historical materials, and scanned historical photos and documents. The Coffee County Memory Project is a non-commercial project that aims to develop, digitize, and archive Coffee County's history, particularly the events that led to the integration of public schools. Its goal is to present this information in an easily accessible medium to those interested.
I installed thermal overloads on motors, terminated CAT6 ethernet cables, experimented with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) simulators, and observed other installation and maintenance processes. I also worked with an Inductively Coupled Plasma device, centrifuges, auto-titrators, Gas Chromatography (GC) devices, and other equipment to test chemical samples.
Month-long Summer Internship
I directly assisted the electrical engineer and project manager of a future City of Douglas vehicle maintenance facility, assisted with wiring data cables, and used a GIS device to collect data on inclines for future projects.
