The Black Entertainment & Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA) selected me as the only 1L volunteer for its national conference in 2021. Professor Mo Ivory recommended this opportunity for members of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society - and BESLA selected me and 3L student Sope Ojo.
At the conference, I started relationships and prepared conference sessions with sports and entertainment lawyers at ESPN, Amazon, Netflix, HBO, Nike, the NFL, and national firms. The picture is with Sope and the other the 2021 law school volunteers.
