I come from a family chuck full of resilient individuals and believe that is evident in my educational success here. The majority of semesters here at S.N.H.U., I was faced with obstacles both in relation to my academic life and my personal life. Some would have bet that those would have hindered my abilities to succeed but I didn't let them. I am the oldest in my family and hope to be nothing more than a positive role model for my younger sister Patricia.

Activities

SNHU STEAM Team

This club became formerly recognized as one my junior year at SNHU. The acronym stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. We aim to enrich each of these qualities both on our campus and in the neighboring school communities by running STEAM Challenges and other fun activities. During my senior year, I became a member of the executive board serving as Marketing Chair. In this position, I managed our social media pages, created flyers for our events, and photographed all of our events.

Apart of a greek organization that is huge into giving back to the community and pushes each member to complete at least ten hours of community service. After joining the organization, I took up leadership roles within it. These included being a member of the Recruitment Committee, Standards Board, and during my senior year taking up the role of Standards Chair.

Here I assist in the day to day functionality of the school of education. I aide professors with projects they need completed for their classes, respond to emails, pass out the mail, make sure the building looks nice, and of course help students with questions or concerns they may have.

Assistant Teacher & Floater at Creative Kids Child Care

At Creative Kids Kent location, I float throughout the building performing coverage for lunch breaks or for coworkers who are on vacation. As such, I get experience working any where from eight to nine hours a day with kids ranging from 4 months old to twelve years.
