After several years dedicated to family and building a career, I made the pivotal decision to pursue the degree I had long aspired to achieve since high school. Initially, as a young single mother, I prioritized entering the workforce to meet financial obligations. Following my marriage and the addition of three more children, I thrived in the banking industry. However, I felt a persistent drive towards a more fulfilling career.This led me to nursing school, where I excelled academically until I realized that the clinical environment was not the right fit for me. I then transitioned into business management roles, where I successfully navigated various challenges. My journey continued as I obtained my insurance licenses and provided life and health insurance until the onset of the pandemic.Throughout these experiences, I have nurtured a passion for technology, particularly in the field of cybersecurity. Now, as I return to academia, I am eager to leverage my diverse background and skills. While I acknowledge the challenges of pursuing my goals at this stage in my life, I am confident in my ability to thrive and make a meaningful contribution to the cybersecurity landscape.
