Mrs. Swanson has over 10 years of experience in the construction business. Mrs. Swanson's career has given her experiences in construction management, cost estimating, drafting, and consultant roles on a variety of food & beverage, chemical, heating plant, mining, and government projects. More recently she supported a solar project. Her career with Amec Foster Wheeler began with a heating and cooling plant project in start-up and commissioning of a new boiler facility, fuel oil unloading and delivery system, balance of plant such as water treatment, feed water, compressors, condensate collection systems, electrical and control upgrades to existing equipment. Mrs. Swanson has been a Mechanical Construction Manager on a number of large capital projects with Amec Foster Wheeler, more recently in the Food & Beverage industry. She currently is pursuing a Bachelors of Manufacturing Management (BMM) with emphasis on Project Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, Lean Manufacturing, and Food Plant Engineering at the University of Minnesota Crookston.
