My name is Camilla Leonard. I am currently a full time student at Siena College, located in Loudonville, New York. I am a junior majoring in Sociology with a minor in History and a certificate in Pre- Law. As an Afro-Guyanese American I aspire to gain a new perspective and experience as well as share my intellectual and physical abilities. My intent is to attend law school or graduate school after college. I have polished my skills as a writer and researcher throughout my time at Siena College. As a freshman I received an academic award at the 2014 First Year Seminar Student Conference, where I presented my research on human rights. I am currently enrolled in the Siena Standish Honors Program, which requires me to write research papers and analyze academic articles and books. I am seeking opportunities which will help to enhance my understanding of law, advocacy and research.
