A-pin recipient. The A-pin is an award given to Engineering students at Utah State University for maintaining a 4.0 GPA for two consecutive semesters while completing 15+ credits each semester. I kept a 4.0 GPA for 6 straight semesters with that course load and part-time employment.

I was one of the School's Valedictorians for maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school education.

I was awarded the Presidential Scholarship upon admission to Utah State. This scholarship covered 4 years of tuition and student fees. I needed to maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA to retain the scholarship.

I was the Industry Committee Head for my junior year. In this position I organized activities for society members to learn about opportunities in industry within the field of biomedical engineering. In this position I coordinated with another student organization to plan and carry out an industry tour day where students had the opportunity to tour many different companies near the campus. I was the USU Chapter President my senior year. I had the responsibility to work with other leadership to plan various activities including socials, outreach events, and professional development. I also worked to ensure that our chapter was in compliance with national BMES by encouraging national membership of interested students.
