I'm a pre-dental student at Kean University majoring in Biology Cell and molecular and I'm originally from Egypt. Some fun facts about me are that I'm very interested in researching Fungi, I love dogs, and I have a Chihuahua named Gouda. I have been a Business Precalculus tutor for three years as a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader with experience as a Business Precalculus Team Leader and was recently offered a position as the Biology Team Leader.

In order to be named on the Dean's List a student must complete at least 12 credits in the semester with a grade-point average of 3.45 or higher. Through hard work and perseverance, I was able to get a GPA of 4.0.

Carla Salib was recognized for earning a scholarship

I was awarded the William Livingston Scholarship which is a full merit scholarship as a freshman. I'm especially proud of this award as I received it only two years after moving to the US. Moreover, not only was I able to keep this scholarship but I also maintained a 4.0 GPA which is way over the required GPA for the maintenance of this award.
