Theta Tau
In this role, my job was to create a chapter budget for Theta Tau as well as approve all committee budgets. I was in charge of over $57,000 of chapter funds, which I had to strategically use for the continuation of the organization and to make the most of the school year. Organize the housing situations and coordinate with Greek Resource Services regarding lease agreements, in charge of filling the Fraternitys house. I was also re-elected by peers for a second term. During my first term, I was responsible for calculating and issuing refunds after COVID-19 stopped all activity on campus in March. I held discussions with my fellow Executive Council members and the chapter at large to have a transparent and agreeable solution/course of action. During my second term, I organized a plan and consolidated sources of information so that the financial losses that occurred during the previous term were minimized and that the financial "wheels" of the fraternity were in good health for the future. I also improved relationships with the third-party companies we use to efficiently send invoices, fines, and house billing re-routed to the Mu Chapter Initiative (alumni group). HeroX Product Project for STEM Business Honors
The project was to come up with a product incorporating several different challenges presented on the HeroX website. The idea behind HeroX is to " connect everyday problem solvers like you to bring innovative thinking to the world.". They post many different world challenges to their website, where anyone is welcome to attempt to solve. We did research and conducted interviews and surveys to better understand our potential customers. We chose safety for women in both rural and urban areas, focused specifically on preventing sexual violence and giving our customers a quick, discrete, and valuable safety measure and peace of mind. We made a model for the business structure using the well-known Business Model Canvas.

Reverse Innovation Project for STEM Business Honors
Our task for this project was to take material from a country outside the United States and design a product that could appeal to the consumer demographics within the United States. We came up with sustainable protein bars using protein derived from Chapulines (aka grasshoppers). The link includes our presentation and Business Model on the end slide. This one was a lot of fun. :)
