BYU Online Program Administrator at Brigham Young University
The BYU Online Program Administrator is responsible for overseeing the operational success of all semester-based online courses offered to matriculating BYU students. This responsibility is carried out by direct supervision and through BYU Online Courses Administrators. The Online Program Administrator partners with BYU Department Chairs and Faculty and their corresponding Division of Continuing Education Academic Products Consultants to plan the courses, sections, and faculty assignments to be offered each semester. The Online Courses Administrator coordinates contracting, training, and preparing assigned faculty for their online course assignments each semester. The Online Program Administrator has specific management and supervisory responsibility for the Teaching Assistants (TAs) who support the BYU Online faculty and enrolled students. The Online Program Administrator supervises operational execution of all online courses throughout the semester and ensures the BYU Online program delivers an excellent learning experience for students.
