Editorial Assistant at Historian: Book Review Section

The Historian is the journal of Phi Alpha Theta, the international history honors society. It is one of only two history review journals that covers all time periods and all subjects of history. I take part in the entire process of a review journal, from copy editing to database management to light office tasks. I participate heavily with Microsoft Access.

I assist in the preservation, research, presentation, organization, and acquisition aspects of the Rare Books Library. I have learned how to safely and carefully interact with historical objects to protect them while allowing them to be a learning tool for students and visiting scholars alike.
