My name is Corey Burton, and I am from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I am the only member in the family whose is deaf. I graduated Indiana School for the Deaf in the year of 2008. And, I studied in Applied Computer Technology at NTID for four years. After my AAS degree last spring, I returned RIT to continue getting my bachelors degree in CMS Organizational Change and Leadership with the minors in Quality Management and Communication. Otherwise, I got involved Ebony Club as Athletic Director (2008-2009) and President (2010-2011). At the same time, I worked Step Up (mentor) under Student Life Team for three years straight helping and encouraging the freshman to do well in school. In addition, I worked as teacher assistant and director for summer camps (EYF, Girlz/Boyz Tech, Drobortz) under NTID last summer. This year, I was president of NTID Student Congress academic year of 2012-2013. I was still director for Youth Empowerment Summit under National Black Deaf Advocate from 2010 to present. Off campus job experience, I took an internship as technical support at ZVRS (Z Video Relay Service) in 2009. After that I was Z- specialist/Regional Installation Expert/ Team Leader ZVRS for 4 years while in college. I just hired from ZVRS as Regional Outreach Manager since August 2013 My hobbies will be bunch of adventures such as scuba dive, cliff jumping, hiking, and much more! I am hoping to do skydiving one day in the near future!
