April, 30 2019 - Verified by Angelo State UniversityI teach two sections of English Composition at Angelo State University. I help students understand the value of reading and writing skills as they pertain to rhetorically appealing to different discourse communities not only in school, but in their lives and future careers. I collaboratively assist students in understanding key concepts that will create the basis for their understanding and that can be re-purposed for other writing projects in the future. I also help them work collaboratively with each other to widen their network of communication and create leadership positions for themselves now and for future opportunities.
I enjoy working with the students in my classes and the faculty in my program. I am gaining experience that will help me expand my horizons and develop reliable instructional tools for future job opportunities I may have. The experiences as a Teaching Assistant are also organized alongside my experience as a Graduate Student at the university. My organization skills, research, and plan form the basis for any current and future successes.
