Danielle Emerson-Smith

My name is Danielle Emerson-Smith, and I am a proud student at Georgia State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a mother of five, wife, full-time employee at Grady Health System, and business owner, I am deeply committed to creating a life rooted in service, resilience, and legacy. My journey back to education has been shaped by perseverance through early motherhood, personal challenges, and professional growth. Now, as a Hub Resource Associate at Grady, I help coordinate patient care and support transitions that make a real difference in peoples lives. Returning to school is more than a personal goalit's a statement to my children and my community that it's never too late to pursue your dreams. I hope to use my degree to continue serving others, advocate for quality healthcare, and be a role model for those overcoming obstacles to achieve success.
