Laboratory experience from internships and course work in modern and ancient DNA laboratory (PCR, electrophoresis, sequencher, DNeasy kits) , general biology, general chemistry, microbiology (isolating cells, bacterial identification, staining and cultures), organic chemistry, comparative vertebrate physiology, veterinary in-house analyzers (Idexx catalyst dx, lasercyte, snapshot dx) Graduate UC Davis in 2013 with a B.S. in Animal Biology emphasis in conservation genetics. Currently pursuing a Masters in Biology (anticipated graduation 2016). Pursuing academic and professional goals as a research biologist with interest in genetic studies. I am highly experienced working with clients and coworkers in various professional environments. I have excellent communication and people skills in small and large group settings. Strongly motivated and eager to take initiative in the work place.
