Research AssistantAugust 2016 - April 2017
As an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, I worked on the MyPaTH Story Booth project. One of the goals of the project was to generate an archive of both patient and caregiver healthcare stories that would be available for health researchers. I was responsible for managing the team of undergraduates of the project as well as recruiting participants, consenting and then interviewing subjects on the healthcare topic of their choosing, and coding the themes that emerged throughout the story. Additionally, I was a member of the writing team and a coauthor on a manuscript generated from the work.
