Dr. David Nelson joined the Valdosta State University Faculty in Fall 2011. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Arts in communication and Bachelor of Science in speech communication, both from the University of Central Missouri. He previously taught at the University of Central Missouri, Blue River Community College, Penn Valley Community College, Longview Community College, and Northwest Missouri State University. Before entering the field of higher education, he worked as a System Administrator at Centermedia.
