An accomplished editor, reporter and photographer for more than 20 years - in magazine, newspaper and public relations - I have earned statewide awards for reporting, photography, broadcasting, web design, writing, graphic design and layout from a variety of professional organizations. My work is published regularly in regional and music trade periodicals, with several book and journal projects currently in progress.

In 2013, I was inducted into the San Marcos Women’s Hall of Fame for leadership and lifelong accomplishments; and received a Letter of Commendation from Congressman Lloyd Doggett for my dedication and commitment to the Democratic Party of Texas. I was named a Strutters Giant, the lifetime achievement award for that organization.
I served as president of the Strutters Always Chapter of the Texas State Alumni Association for three years, and led the organization through a major fundraising campaign to build the multi-million dollar Linda Gregg Fields Strutters Always Gallery at Bobcat Stadium. Additionally, Mark and I are donors to the Texas State University Center for Texas Music History and the Bobcat Athletic Foundation. I have also been named Employee of the Month at Texas State University.
