Diego Valentim

Being able to travel around the world and living in three different countries, gave me the chance to discover different cultures and know new languages. I am currently living in the US and I am fluent in four languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, and English). I am a sophomore student-athlete at Miami University, Oxford, OH, double-majoring in Public Health & Environmental Science. I have a passion for both subjects and hope to find a career where I can use my well-rounded education to the best of my abilities. On my Public Health major, I am interested in the epidemiology field and research assistant. During all my life I have been a competitive swimmer and traveled around the world for meets and competitions, acquiring many skills. Since the beginning, I learned to be responsible, manage my time, work with the team, be independent, responsible and communicate with coaches, competitors and teammates. I also know how to manage the pressure and work with it. I am looking for a position that challenges me, where I can get more experience, learn and improve my skills at the same time. I am always ready to put hard work in whatever I do. I consider myself an easily adaptable person and I am not afraid of new experiences.
