My name is Dorian Veliky. I am originally from New Jersey, and moved to South Carolina a few years ago. I am a Communications major, and English minor, and I have a love for reading, theatre, travel, and writing. I am so excited to be here at CCU, and to hopefully experience all the amazing opportunities offered here, such as the study abroad program, in which I will be going to Trinidad this May. Go Chants!

Socastee Show Choir

We put on concerts every year, and I definitely learned a great sense of team work, and responsibility. My senior year, I was President of Singers and had responsibilities such as fundraising ideas, creating the programs, and assisting the director.

Work Experience

Social Media Management, Kennel Worker at Lisa Horton

I am responsible for some of the social media management, such as the weekend Facebook post, and I run the company's Tiktok account. I also am responsible for the upkeep of the dogs boarding at the facility and cleanliness of indoors and yards. I administer medicine to dogs from allergy pills to insulin shots, and also have been trained in some grooming techniques such as baths, nail trims, paw treatments, and doggy facials.
