Bonheur Dounebaine is from Chad, prior to his studies at the Georgia State University, he earned his M.D. at the University of Bamako, MALI; he also worked with several international institutions including MSF, UNICEF, IMC and the WHO on immunization programs in Africa. He graduated in Mai 2017 from the GSU with an MPH degree (epidemiology). During his MPH training, he was a Teaching Assistant in undergrad program in Intro to Epidemiology, and Research Methods.
