I originally started my career as a small animal veterinarian. My passion has been the lifetime health of animals, the human-animal bond, and trying to heal those who cannot speak. I became interested in the basic sciences that provide the foundation for my clinical work. Back in 2012, I returned to graduate school to learn how to be a researcher and basic scientist. My dream is to become a clinician-scientist upon graduation in the neurological sciences.
