Ryan Driscoll

Greetings! I grew up in Minnesota and went to college at the University of Minnesota where I majored in Ecology, Evolution and Animal Behavior. Since graduating, I have been a field researcher in Bolivia, a high school and middle school science teacher, and have worked as an informal science educator at Underwater Adventures (the aquarium in the basement of the Mall of America), the US Space and Rocket Center (where I taught at space camp!), and the Bell Museum of Natural History. I currently work at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture and Woodland Park Zoo here in Seattle. My passion is helping people to understand life science and conservation efforts through hands-on and discovery-based methods, and I am excited to spend the next few years learning to be a more effective planner and facilitator!
