Eric Villalobos

Born and raised in Whittier, California, Eric Villalobos is an Army musician. He works an active Instructor and Musician in the Southern California Region. Eric is known as a Tubist, he enjoys playing in various performing groups: brass quintets, orchestras, concert bands, jazz ensembles, and Army Bands. Currently he is a Music and Visual Instructor at California H.S. in Whittier, CA and Azusa High School as a Music and Visual Instructor, under his instruction these ensembles have won numerous awards. In addition to teaching high school, Eric is assigned with the 300th Army Band at the Patton Reserve Center in Bell, CA as a Tuba Player and Vocalist. Eric's past instructional work includes: La Serna High School 2001, Ruben S. Ayala High School 20022006, Valley View High School 2003, Esperanza Drum and Bugle corps 2005, La Mirada High School 20032006, Mcintosh High School 2008, Peach Tree City, GA 2008 and Spartanburg High School, Spartanburg, SC 2009, Santa Fe High School, Stanta Fe Springs, CA 2006-2014 and Redlands East Valley, Redlands, CA 2013. Performance credits include: The Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps 2002, Fullerton College Community Band, The Olympus Brass Quintet, The Lanaya Brass Quintet, The Stan Kenton Neo-phonic Jazz Ensemble, Gwen Stanfani, The Terry Bradshaw Show, Foxs Teen choice awards, The United States Army Ground Forces Band, The 36th Army Band, 82nd Airborne Division All American Band, The Berean Choir and Orchestra, The Fayetteville Symphonic Band, the All American Boys Choir, the Huntington Beach Symphony and appearances with several different marching groups for television.
