Dr. Ebru Genc has been a faculty member at Hiram college since 2019. Before joining Hiram, she worked at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar and Abdullah Gul University (Kayseri, Turkey) as an Assistant Professor. She received her Ph. D. in Business Administration/Marketing at Temple University's Fox School of Business. She holds an M.S. degree in Finance from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and B.Sc. degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. She has presented in several prestigious conferences such as American Marketing Associations Conference, Academy of International Business Conference and Product Development and Management Associations Annual Global Conference. Her research has been published in several top-tier outlets, including Industrial Marketing Management, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, Journal of Management and Economics, International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, International Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development. Dr. Ebru Gen has a book chapter titled as Sustainable New Product Development in the Handbook of Research on New Product Development. New product development, sustainable management, innovation in small and medium-size enterprises, country-of-origin, and mobile advertising are among her research interests.
