I am Guatemalan, and getting my Associate in Business Management, after that I will be going to persuade a Bachelors degree also in Business and minor in Spanish. I am happy after 10 years to live in Wisconsin I got my citizenship, it was a lot of work and sacrifices with my family, I have 2 kids 7 year old and 4 year old and my wife. I use to be a coffee farmer, came into the US. And learned English; I use to think the only job I will get in Wisconsin it will be Farmer on fields and now after 10 years I believe that the future can be build by sacrifice and a lot of studies. I also work for School district of La Crosse where I am interpreter in Spanish and help kids of all ages and believe that opportunities are for all if we have the commitment.

Coffee advocate

I work for social organizations from Guatemala and Mexico that send green coffee beans to Wisconsin, I roasted and sell in farmers market with the purpose of give back to those coffee farmers and their families to improve their quality of life. Many coffee farmers belong to small communities that need support to sell their coffee, as they dont have any education, our funds help to pay for schools, medicine for the small pharmacy and adult educational trainings.

Coffee Book

This is a book of my life and decorative imaginations added to inspire the routine of a coffee farmer from his childhood; it was written by my wife as follows my stories when I was living in Guatemala. Today we encourage people to all ages to read and understand the importance to use, sustainable, shedgrown, organic and fair trade coffee to promote wildlife protection and good practices of coffee productions.

Coffee For Hope

Every year presentation in Universities around Wisconsin, educating people about the importance of consuming organic, sustainable coffee from small farms and not from large coffee corporations, as our environment decays, because of those coffee companies that grow large amounts and destroy soils with mono cultives. The sustainable coffee and Coffee for Hope was created to bring awareness and share good experience of new non traditional farming from small family farms and coffee cooperatives from Guatemala and Mexico.
