"No Stigma For Rho Sigma" - Phi Theta Kappa Honor's in Action Project
The purpose of an Honors in Action project is to show “How the world works” in terms of a relevant issue decided by the chapter. As supervisor of this project, I chose to investigate negative stigma regarding mental health issues with a focus on depression and suicide; domestic abuse and sexual assault; post-traumatic stress disorder; and anxiety. This project had involvement from the college and community, and as a result, our chapter was awarded both the regional and international “Outstanding Honor’s in Action Project” awards.
