• Advise co-directors of the Food Pantry by discussing upcoming events and developing a partnership with the Crisis Center of Johnson County • Facilitate bi-weekly meeting with Food Pantry co-directors in determining allocation of $10,000 budget on food, promotional items, and other needs • Develop curriculum for Alternative Spring Break Leaders bi-weekly fall training meetings focused on leadership competencies and social justice • Assist Leadership & Service Program Coordinator with distribution and review of 355 Alternative Spring Break applications to student and staff leaders • Collaborate with Marketing and Design to improve promotion for StrengthsFinder Sessions and Alternative Spring Break • Coordinate with the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, Henry B. Tippie College of Business, Being Black at Iowa Project, Dance Marathon, Center for Diversity and Enrichment, Residence Education, and the UI Alumni Association to develop specific program sponsored Alternative Spring Break trips • Counsel five Alternative Spring Break leaders through participant selection and trip planning including housing selection, organizations to volunteer with, and cultural events in the area • Present weekly StrengthsFinder Sessions focused on each of the 34 signature strengths as part of the Be Better @ Iowa Initiative • Support other offices within Center for Student Involvement and Leadership with programming efforts including: o Student Organizations Office-set-up and break down of annual Student Org Fair o Student Activities and Programming- crowd control at annual Homecoming Week parade o Fraternity and Sorority Life- assisted with Panhellenic Council formal fall recruitment and acted as a New Member Day facilitator
