Ellyse Freeman

With a passion for helping others and a wide variety of experience in the customer service sector, I strive to go above and beyond the standards that are set for me. I currently run my own financial practice as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual in Syracuse, New York. Having the chance to make such a profound impact on the lives of others, helping people reach their goals, and aiding others in achieving financial security is truly an honor. I discovered my love for business at Cayuga Community College, where I graduated with an A.S. in Business Administration in December of 2016. At Cayuga I dedicated my time to Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda, soon becoming president of Cayuga's chapter. As a member, I placed 5th in National Competitions and 1st in State competitions in Retail Management and Organizational Behavior & Leadership. I decided to continue my passion for business at SUNY Oswego as a double major in Finance & Business Administration with a minor in Applied Statistics. For the Spring of 2017 I appeared on the President's List, achieving a 4.0 GPA. I plan to graduate from SUNY Oswego in December of 2018. I am eager to see how my passion for helping others will intertwine with my studies and future career. I aspire to become a financial adviser at Northwestern Mutual upon graduation, and am prepared to do what it takes in order to make that happen. No matter where I end up however, I know that I will bring a distinct leadership, work ethic, passion, and enthusiasm for the work I do. To me, no limit is ever defined, and no height is too high.
