Hello, my name is Emily Ledesma and I am a recent graduate of Adelphi University for the graduating classes of 2025 and 2026. I graduated Adelphi undergraduate in 2025 Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor's in Psychology as a Presidential Scholar. This May of 2026, I graduated again from Adelphi with my Masters in Childhood Education, Early Childhood Extension, and Advanced Certification in Literacy. In addition to graduating with a 4.0, I also had the distinct honor of being this year's commencement speaker for the graduating class of 2026 as I served as Graduate Student Council President! Throughout my time at Adelphi, I immersed myself in numerous leadership opportunities including: First ever Graduate Student Chair, President, and Vice-President, of the Future Teachers Association Event Coordinator and Public Relations for the Psychology Club President, Public Relations, and Secretary for the Psi Chi (Psychology) Honor Society Adelphi Leadership Fellow (2025-2026) Secretary for the Graduate Psychology Club Treasurer for the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society My time at Adelphi has truly been a memorable and treasurable time in my life and I hope to come back as an Alumni and future professor as I now move onto Doctoral study! :)
