Emma Krabbe

I got an Academic Award from my English teacher for my outstanding efforts in her class.

I got an Academic Award in the Principles of Engineering class for my outstanding efforts in the class. I was able to win the competition for the TSA VEX Robotics Competition in my school and state so we were able to go to TSA Nationals in Orlando, Florida. I also founded the Engineering Club for students who wanted to explore their passions outside of their classes. I started the GoBabyGo Project at my high school were we modified Power-Wheels cars to fit the needs of toddlers with Cerebral Palsy.

I was part of this group because I had many hours of community service, leadership positions and skills, good character, and I kept above a 3.5 GPA for senior year. We fundraised money for our projects like the first Sadie Hawkins dance, tutoring ESL students in grade schools, and an end of the year party for the students we tutored.

I founded this club my sophomore year of high school. Here I was able to lead this club for three years in our main project GoBabyGo which is where we were able to modify Power-Wheels cars to fit the needs of toddlers with Cerebral Palsy. I also had to lead the fundraising, our other projects within our club, and I was also appointed to be the TSA President of Ohio my senior year. As TSA President I was able to go to TSA National Conferences and try to figure out how to be more involved in the program. I went to two conferences before I became president for VEX Robotics and 3D CAD with Inventor, then one when I was president to oversee my state.
