Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the bootstrap test cell, planning test cell software and instrumentation upgrades, outlining hardware modifications to test various turbocharger configurations, and providing post-test feedback in data analysis or design reviews.
• Experience with turbomachinery validation in the following areas: bolted joint design, vibration profiles, temperature profiles, dye-pen inspections, performance testing, and detailed turbocharger teardown inspections.
• Owner of the low pressure turbocharger for the Tier 4 locomotive platform. Currently leading reliability, redesign, and cost-out efforts for this turbocharger.
