Erin Espinosa

I was born and raised in Alaska. I was married and started my family in Alaska. It will always hold a special place in my heart. My family and I recently moved to Kentucky to be closer to family and provide educational and extracurricular activities Alaska is unable to offer to our children. While raising four children, caring for my home, finishing my Bachelors in social work I am now going to apply for the Masters Program. My ultimate goal will be to receive my LCSW. I would love to start a non-profit to help todays youth or perhaps work within the school district. I do also feel a calling to work with gerontology. My heart is with those who I feel are a vulnerable population. Having children made me very aware of how I want them to be aware of their resources to reach their full potential. My mother passed away from a degenerative disease and I saw the lack of services available to her the more home bound she became. Disease strips you of dignity and I would love to find a way for all elderly to pass away with dignity and grace and not feel embarrassed or ashamed of things they cannon control.
