Essance Sergent-Spikes is a passionate and high-achieving Human Resources professional currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Human Resources at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and continues to be recognized for her leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to professional and personal growth. As a graduate student, Essance was deeply inspired by attending the Healthcare Leaders Association: North Texas Panel Discussion, Stronger Together: Shaping the Future of Healthcare Leadership. The experience strengthened her passion for connecting people, leadership, and purpose within the healthcare space. Essance is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) Honor Society and The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). Through these affiliations, she has demonstrated academic distinction, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, mentoring peers through structured study sessions, and supporting community service and leadership initiatives. She also holds certifications in Foundations of Leadership and Orientation & Leadership Training from NSLS, underscoring her commitment to servant leadership and continuous improvement. In 2025, Essance was honored to be selected as a DallasHR Student Sponsorship Recipient for the HRSouthwest Conference, one of the regions premier HR events, recognizing her professionalism, initiative, and dedication to advancing the HR profession. Beyond her academic and leadership achievements, Essance serves as a proud member and volunteer of Fort Worth HR (FWHR), contributing to professional development, community engagement, and initiatives that strengthen the local HR community. Her professional interests center on HR operations, employee engagement, and organizational culture within the healthcare industry. Essance is driven by a mission to create people-first workplaces that foster collaboration, growth, and purpose where employees feel valued and inspired to lead positive change.
