Responsible for maintaining and facilitating monthly support groups for rural immigrant women in the Northeast communities of Dutchess County.
Liaison with various agencies, government offices and public institutions to provide speakers for the groups as requested.
Conduct Leadership Training Workshops for individuals seeking to develop Leadership skills to become community leaders.
Provide direct case management services to the underprivileged and the disenfranchised through advocacy, information and referral, crisis intervention services and short term case management.

• Coordinate, organize and facilitate the operation of the Nutrition Program. • Coordination and facilitation of the Nutrition Health Education, both individual and group • Conduct Programs intakes, screenings and facilitate client enrollment in to the Nutrition program • Assist clients on-going nutritional needs with the guidance of the client’s registered dietician • Establish and maintain collaboration with Cornell Cooperative Extension for the Nutrition groups. • Offer individual and group nutritional counseling on an ongoing basis as per dietician recommendations.

• Educate families in pregnancy, breastfeeding and parenting skills. • Perform periodic community outreach at local health fairs, school functions, and other appropriate events • Provide case management services including; health assessment, health education and information, problem identification, referral to needed services, support and follow-up. • Keep update electronic medical records (EPIC) for each client in the program.
