Does AASHE STARS Effectively Improve Post-Secondary Sustainability Curricula?
Advisor: Dr. Stephen Bird June-August 2019 This was a literature based analysis of case studies pertaining to post-secondary institutions that participate in the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education’s Sustainability Tracking, Assessment, and Rating System (AASHE STARS). I looked at the impacts STARS has on universities’ sustainability curricula, and how well sustainability education is integrated into majors across campus.
