In this capacity, I oversaw the Regional park history program and served as the program lead for all supervisory/administrative matters relating to the History Branch which, in addition to myself, included six professional historians. This involved, among other things: establishing employee work plans (EPAPs), performing annual performance evaluations, recommending special achievement awards, overseeing Branch budget matters, approving leave, travel, and other logistical requests, coordinating the Annual Cultural Resource Management Council Meeting for Combined Call, overseeing the quality of end products (for park history studies, National Register nominations, and National Historic Landmark nominations), planning/recommending future projects, insuring that history staff work goals were accomplished, coordinating CRD records management, and serving as the liaison between history staff and the Division Chief.

Campus Records Manager/Archivist at Georgia Institute of Technology
Formalized and ran the Georgia Tech Records Management Program. Supervised 2 FTEs and 2 part-time student assistants. Duties included the identification, collection, preservation, and storage of all permanent and transitory records produced and maintained on the Georgia Tech campus. Set up and supervised the operation of the Georgia Tech Records Center, which had a capacity of approximately 10,000 record cartons. Also supervised the accession and processing of large archival collections, such as the Presidential Office Files. Arranged and/or supervised transfer, inventory, destruction, and retrieval of campus records. Greatest achievement was the inventory/survey and retention scheduling of university records.
