StaffOctober 2013 - PresentWorked with New York State Assemblyman Frank Skartados [Assembly District 104], who represented the cities of Newburgh, Beacon, and Poughkeepsie, as well as the Milton/Marlboro/Highland region in the New York State Assembly for a number of years. Duties included working with state and federal angencies to provide constiuency with due benefits and services, communicating with community groups, attending military ceremony on behalf of the member, speech writing, authoring official communications, legislative research and draft-work, paralegal research, as well as general constituency affairs.

Field Worker for Orange County West Nile Virus Surveillance Program - Contracted by New York State Department of HealthJune 2015 - August 2015Captured, catalogued, and observed thousands of live and cryogenically euthanized mosquito samples by hand, and worked in laboratory conditions to transmit samples from trap to vials post-classification. Species were determined using taxonomical associations and via direct observation on a case-by-case basis under a dissecting microscope using tweasers and notepaper.
