I'm a currently an undergraduate student with a dual degree in Business Management (Finance concentration) and Economics. In addition, I'm currently pursuing a Masters of Science (MS) in Quantitative Finance and Risk Analytics. I have a great love for business, especially finance, as well as technology, and have a great understanding of both as my internships thus far have been in IT and my school focuses on both Management and Technology. I would love to find the perfect equilibrium of both, as I have seen, through my experience as an IT intern and business major, that there tends to be a split between business administration and IT. Many managers of corporations don't fully understand the IT infrastructure that is necessary in implementing their business plans, and for that reason there is often a misunderstanding between the two departments, which is completely inefficient, as you cannot have one without the other. I would ultimately like to use my understanding of both technology and business, in order to provide a more efficient link between the two.

IT Information Management and Business Analyst Intern at Selective Insurance

IT internship where I focused heavily on the business data of Selective which I was expected to be able to access from the Selective servers, as well as analyze, understand, prepare and manipulate. In addition, I worked heavily with Microsoft SQL, Informatica and IBM Cognos in order to access and analyze the business data. I also had various team projects, where I worked with other Selective interns from all different departments, in which we were asked to analyze whether or not a third party live-chat customer help chat room would be feasible.
