Gabrielle Perez

My name is Gabrielle Perez and I am a third year Hospitality Management Major, studying at The Hart School of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. I was born in raised in northern New Jersey, land just recently moved to Greensboro, North Carolina with my family this passed year. I have a passion for management in the Club Industry (country, city, private) as well as in Large corporate hotels, such as Hyatt, Mariott, Hilton. I am inspired by the industry of management, event planning, and catering for special events, banquets, weddings, business meetings etc. I am a self-motivated, bright, positive, student with a dedicated work ethic, alwaysready/willing to learn. I am currently also working to achieve a double minor in business and human resources. Post graduation I plan to get my club managers license as well as my wedding planner certification. I am a very personable, down to earth young lady, who is detailed and taskoriented. I am a creative and unique thinker with innovative ideas, and feel as though I may have new, and enlightening ideas. I am inspired by tourism and travel, and would love to travel during my professional career. This will be my second year taking on the executive Service Chair position for the professional club CMAA (Club Managers Association of America), as well as being a member of the professional club, PCMA, Professional Convention Management Association & HSMAI, Hospitality Sales and Marketing International, all here at JMU.
