Galea Albano

Majored in Biology
Miami University , Class of 2017
From San Diego, CA
Hello! I am currently a Field Instructor with Earth Discovery Institute in San Diego, CA. I am married and have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and about 10 crested geckos. It's a busy and fun house! I received by B.S. from SDSU in Business Management and am looking forward to combining my business prowess with an M.A. in Biology. My passion for conservation and wildlife has been utilized in such a unique and fulfilling way with this program. I am honored and thrilled to be a part of this third cohort of AIP students. On the weekends, I enjoy a variety of fun activities around my beautiful city: volunteer events, beach days, parks, museums, and concerts. I also get up to Disneyland at least once a month and never get tired of it. I hope to make an impact in my community by spreading awareness of important conservation issues in order to create a larger community of people who will fight to end extinction!
