Garrett Pinckney

Alumni of The Citadel
Background Born in California but raised in the southern town of Wilmington, North Carolina, I have always had a soft spot for the Southeast United States. I spent my time in high school at John T. Hoggard High playing varsity football and lacrosse, performing well academically, serving in leadership roles in various youth organizations, earning my Eagle Scout, doing community service and enjoying time with close friends at the beach. Knowing that I wanted to have a career in the US Navy and not have the typical college experience, I was fortunate enough to earn NROTC Scholarship to The Citadel where I could follow in the footsteps of Countless great men before myself. Ambitions Working towards a bachelors in Business Administration as well as a Minor in Physics, I strive to make myself a very well rounded, competitive student and future naval officer. I believe one of my greatest strengths, was and still is, having a broad skill set and capable of performing well in any group, setting, or situation. Though I intend on making a career out of the Navy, I still have great interest in the business world and getting involved as soon as possible.
