Gary Wann

Gary Thomas Wann originally hales from Detroit, Michigan; and is currently employed as the Vice President of Brand Marketing for NBC Universal | KXAS NBC 5; serving Dallas, Texas the nation's 5th largest television market. He is a National Emmy Award winner and former Chairperson of the Michigan EMMY Committee. He has served on the Board of Governors of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, as a Trustee of The Houston Symphony, and as the Region 3 Representative for the NBC Station Marketing Committee. Gary has been recognized for his work in advertising with 9 Regional EMMY Awards, awarded a PromaxBDA North America Award, 31 Telly Awards, the American Marketing Associations Marketer of the Year Award for Broadcast Media, the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters Best of the Best Award, and 18 Regional EMMY Nominations. And in 2014, received 6 PromaxBDA Local Awards tied for the most awards given by Promax to a local TV Station that year. He is currently enrolled at Texas A&M University as a Graduate Student, studying marketing and business analytics. Gary, his wife Leigh, his two sons, and two daughters currently reside in the Dallas area.
