Texas State University, Class of 2025
From Arlington
I am a senior at Texas State University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Sport Psychology, expecting to graduate in December 2025. As a Division I student-athlete on the womens soccer team, I have learned to balance rigorous academic and athletic commitments while developing discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills. I currently serve as the Interim President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where I represent over 400 student-athletes, act as a liaison between athletics and administration, and coordinate initiatives that enhance the student-athlete experience. Beyond athletics, I am an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Iota Omega Chapter, where I contribute to fundraising and service projects that support scholarship opportunities and community outreach. My campus involvement also extends to the National Pan-Hellenic Council, where I collaborate with fellow student leaders across Greek organizations. Through these roles, I have strengthened my skills in leadership, communication, event planning, and advocacy, and I remain committed to excellence both in the classroom and in my extracurricular pursuits.

KTSW-FM 89.9
From Fall 2023 to Spring 2025, I served as a reporter for KTSW 89.9, Texas State Universitys student-run radio station. In this role, I covered Texas State Athletics as well as San Marcos Rattlers high school sports, producing written and on-air reports that highlighted team performance, athlete stories, and community engagement. I also developed skills in sports photography, capturing game-day action and providing visual content to complement reporting. This experience strengthened my abilities in journalism, storytelling, media production, and time management while giving me hands-on exposure to the fast-paced environment of sports media.
