The Student Wellness Program Assistant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations and organization of the WU-Moves Community Wellness Program. This person will help low-income clients develop and maintain healthy wellness behaviors. The Wellness Assistant should have excellent communication and customer service skills, familiarity with health screenings, knowledge of nutrition, exercise prescription, cultural awareness, and behavior change.

Objective: To analyze, from the perception of the coaches, the influence of the abdominal muscles in runners of 100 meters dash. Methods: A descriptive qualitative study was carried out. For this, a questionnaire was applied to 10 Brazilian athletics coaches. All of them with national team experience. Results: As diagnostic results, I know that from the perception of two Brazilian coaches there was a consensus regarding the influence of the abdominal musculature in 100 meter dash events. In this scenario, the abdominal muscle challenge was more addressed by respondents, but not unanimously. Regarding training, coaches indicate a frequency of three times a week, in 50% of them. As they indicate a variation of intervention methods and an expected consent about possible related injuries. Conclusions: It is concluded that the Brazilian athletics coaches, in their convictions, indicate that there is an influence of the abdominal muscles on the performance of sprinters.
