I am currently pursuing my Master's degree at SUNY Oneonta in Literacy Education (5-12), projected to be completed in May 2020. During my four years at Siena College, I completed my BS Physics and Astronomy, as well as a minor in mathematics. For the spring of 2019, I completed a semester of student teaching in two districts in the capital region, wrapping up my minor in educational studies, as well. I was able to fulfill the requirements for a physics degree in its entirety, and then apply to the education program for Adolescent Education Certification (grades 7-12), as Siena is an NCATE accredited school. By the spring of 2020, I anticipate being duel certified to teach both physics and mathematics.
