Hannah Bergeron

I work at the ZooAmerica portion of Hersheypark Entertainment and Resorts, in which I sell tickets to guests visiting the zoo, answer questions, and direct them to the correct entrances. I also work for several hours outside on the bridge between the amusement park and the zoo, stamping the hands of guests going from the park to the zoo, and checking stamps on the opposite of the bridge. This job requires social skills, teamwork, knowledge of my department and job, cash-handling, and the ability to work in different kinds of weather.

My position at the PYC included running the after-school program for the local elementary and middle school students, such as clean-up, oversee of activities, homework help, and discipline when necessary. The program ran from 2pm-5pm every weekday during the school year, and I worked on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
