Haylie Riedl

I'm a recent graduate from the University of Iowa, where I have received a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Human Relations. I am currently working as a direct support professional to gain experience in the mental health field and become a befitting candidate for graduate school. I aspire to continue my education in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling start of Fall 2021. I am a huge people-person and as a DSP, I have been able to make a difference in many lives. Being able to help people, especially in the mental health aspect of life gives me my purpose. With my psychology degree I have been able to develop my skills in understanding people and why they do what they do. In the past year, I found love in my Human Relations Minor. The minor really helps me focus on the counseling field and build my knowledge of different topics related to my future work.
