Hilary Goldstein

Majoring in Professional Music With Concentrations In Music Business, Performance And Songwriting
Berklee College of Music, Class of 2016
From New Hyde Park, NY
Hilary's first collegiate entry into music began at Hofstra University where she studied classical vocal performance. There, she discovered her love of fundraising and communications. She then completed essential courses in both areas & soon became the Treasurer for Adopt a Dream, a non-profit organization that gives back to children who are underprivileged in material objects as well as their well-being. Thereafter, Hilary applied for and was accepted into the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College to pursue a Classical Vocal Performance Degree. Although Hilary enjoyed her time there, she took the opportunity to apply to Berklee. Her audition in both classical and contemporary vocal performance, persuaded college officials that she was a perfect fit for a contemporary music career. She humbly accepted a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music for the Fall of 2013. During Hil's first two years at Berklee, she has succeeded in continuously attaining a spot on Berklees coveted Deans List. She's now a Professional Music Major with intensive concentrations in Music Business, Performance and Songwriting. Hil has joined many Berklee clubs and organizations and has been utilizing her skills to become an active leader on campus. She is the Logistics Manager and member of the only All-Female Berkee A Cappella group Treble Theft. Hil is also the Editor-In-Chief and a Published Writer, for the Berklee Chapter of the national publication Verge Campus Magazine. Hil has been focusing on coining her writing technique and interviewing skills, as well as pursuing her music career by developing her stage presence, vocal technique and songwriting skills. Hilary looks forward to graduating with a Bachelors degree from Berklee this May, and to making many contacts for future career endeavors.
