Hiral Master is a licensed physical therapist in the United States and is currently a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After obtaining her Masters degree in Physiotherapy from India, she got her Masters in Public Health (Biostatistics) from the University of North Texas Health Science Centre, USA and Ph.D. from the University of Delaware. Her research focuses on investigating physical functioning, physical activity and health outcomes measures in adults with knee osteoarthritis and post spine surgery. She has received university and foundation level awards and travel fundings to present her research at national and international conferences. She serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed scientific journals. Out of the research world, she is actively involved in organizing several university-level social and educational events. She spends her weekend biking, exploring new places and dancing especially Indian classical dance.
